New Jerusalem Mass Choir - "We Shall Be Changed" - Rare Black Gospel
Not a lot of info about this album or label. Really good upbeat funky gospel from the New Jerusalem Mass Choir of the New Jerusalem Baptist Church in Cleveland, Ohio. The church and the choir are both still active today, which is nice. I am guessing this was released somewhere between the late 1960's and late 1970's. Either way, the album is fantastic and if I wasn't so poor I'd keep it around in my own collection as a great token gospel LP, which all collections should have, and as it is from my home town AND good, makes it even better... however, I am broke and I'm sure a collector of private press bad-assed gospel music could also use it, so a cash trade it will be eventually!

The Fashions - Fairy Tales - 1961 - Elmor-301 - Barbara English - Girl G...
Great old 45 from Girl Group The Fashions, featuring Barbara English. Released on Elmor in 1961. Flip side is "Please Let It Be Me".
This video was uploaded by myself using images and sounds from the actual record that we are currently offering for sale in our ebay store!
The Fashions - Please Let It Be Me - Girl Group - 45 - Elmor - 1961
Great old 45 from Girl Group The Fashions, featuring Barbara English. Released on Elmor in 1961. Flip side is "Fairy Tales". Neither of the songs are conventionally catchy in my opinion but both really enjoyable none the less. I think this is my favorite of the two songs.

Arthur Epps - There Was a Party - Rare R&B Spark 45 - 1961
Released on Spark in 1961. This is a pretty rare single. The recording you are hearing came straight from the 45 that we sold awhile ago for about $50. As you can hear, the record is in really fantastic shape! Looked and sounded near mint. A true gem for the collector!

Old Records
I sell records. Some times people want to hear the records I am listing and/or I want to share the records as I will have noticed youtube is lacking good examples of stuff I have access to. I figured if I am making these simple videos and uploading them to youtube that I might as well collect them all in yet another place for people to enjoy whether they are interested in purchasing stuff from me or not. I hope this blog will be enjoyed by folks who love all sorts of music as this blog doesn't have a focal point other than neat old music of all styles!
